AWS Qualified Software · Available on AWS Marketplace
Every loan file audit-ready, in your own AWS account.
DocuSwift is the document management system for Indian lenders: NBFCs, housing-finance companies and banks. Find every document for a loan in seconds, route approvals and keep a tamper-evident record of every action, from USD 1,800 or ₹1,10,000 + GST a year with every feature included. Need your own data centre? There is an On-Premises edition too.
Your business runs on documents. Your teams shouldn't have to chase them.
Loan files live in branch cupboards, scanners, shared drives and email. Auditors ask for hundreds of files by loan number. Legacy DMS licences charge per seat, so half the organisation never gets access. DocuSwift replaces that sprawl with one secure repository where every document is searchable, governed and instantly accessible.
Loan files, KYC packets, sanction letters, property and legal documents, customer records — in one place.
Retrieve by loan number, customer ID or any metadata in seconds; bulk search from an Excel list.
Role-based access by branch and department, with immutable audit logs and retention rules.
No per-user licence: give every branch officer, auditor and partner the access they need.

How DocuSwift compares
A system of record for loan files, not another file drive
Content platforms sell enterprise-wide automation, file drives sell storage, and legacy DMS products tie you to servers. DocuSwift is built around the loan file and runs in your own AWS account.

Deployment options
Serverless on AWS: the most cost-effective way to run DocuSwift
Our recommended edition runs in your own AWS account, bills per use and needs no servers. If policy requires self-hosting, the On-Premises edition runs on Docker with PostgreSQL and your own storage. Either way, your documents are stored on infrastructure you control.
Recommended
AWS Serverless edition
Your AWS account, any supported region
Our recommended edition and the most cost-effective way to run DocuSwift. It is provisioned with AWS CloudFormation into your own AWS account, and AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and S3 scale automatically: you pay for what you use, with no servers to buy, patch or staff.
Pay per use: no idle servers, hardware or database licences to fund
Every DocuSwift capability, including IDP, retention and the tamper-evident audit archive
Production, DR and non-production installs in every plan; active-active option
Documents in your Amazon S3 buckets, encrypted with your KMS keys
Any data centre or cloud that runs Linux containers
Runs as Docker containers on servers you control, with a PostgreSQL database and conventional file storage. Install it in your own data centre, a private cloud, or on any public cloud: Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud or Amazon EC2.
Docker Compose deployment: API, background worker, scheduler and Redis
Your PostgreSQL 12+ database, self-run or a managed service
Documents on a local disk, NAS or SAN volume you already back up
Core document management stays entirely inside your network
Plus a documented REST API, scoped API keys, JavaScript SDK, webhooks and an in-app API explorer. Explore integrations →

Securing 35+ TB of loan documents on AWS with DocuSwift
Aavas Financiers, a listed Indian housing-finance NBFC, replaced an ageing on-premises document store with DocuSwift on AWS — migrating more than 35 TB of loan files, masking PII at scale and running active-active across Mumbai and Hyderabad.
DocuSwift is a Document Management System (DMS) by HabileLabs, available as a serverless AWS edition and a self-hosted On-Premises edition. Both editions centralise, organise, search and govern business-critical documents (loan files, KYC packets, customer records and compliance files) with role-based access, approval workflows, version control, metadata tagging, e-signatures and audit logs. The AWS Serverless edition adds intelligent document processing, full-text OCR search, a tamper-evident audit archive and retention controls; it is recognised as AWS Qualified Software and is available on AWS Marketplace. The On-Premises edition runs on Docker with PostgreSQL in any data centre or cloud.
How is DocuSwift different from other document management systems?
DocuSwift is built as a system of record for Indian lenders rather than a general content platform or a file drive. Three things set it apart. It runs in your own AWS account, or in your own data centre with the On-Premises edition, so documents never sit in a vendor's cloud. It is organised around loan files, with loan-ID metadata, bulk search from an Excel list, approval flows and, in the AWS Serverless edition, a tamper-evident audit archive. And its prices are published in USD and INR, with every feature in every plan instead of features gated by tier.
How is DocuSwift priced?
DocuSwift is sold as annual plans sized by named users and data under management, with every feature in every plan. On AWS Marketplace: Essentials (10 users, 1 TB) USD 1,800 a year, Starter (25 users, 2 TB) USD 4,800, Business (100 users, 10 TB) USD 14,400 and Enterprise (500 users, 50 TB) USD 36,000, plus 25-user packs at USD 2,400 and 5 TB data packs at USD 1,500 a year; 24 and 36-month terms are 5% and 10% off, and month-to-month is available. Indian buyers get an INR private offer through AWS India at about a quarter below the dollar list. A site licence with unlimited users is available above 100 TB. AWS infrastructure consumed in your account (S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Textract, Bedrock) is billed separately by AWS.
Where are our documents stored?
Always on infrastructure you control. With the AWS Serverless edition, DocuSwift is provisioned with AWS CloudFormation into the AWS account you nominate (for example Mumbai ap-south-1 with disaster recovery in Hyderabad ap-south-2), and documents sit in Amazon S3 buckets you own, encrypted at rest. With the On-Premises edition, documents sit on your own local, NAS or SAN storage and metadata in your PostgreSQL database, in your data centre or cloud. HabileLabs has no access to your environment or your documents.
What do the audit logs capture and can they be altered?
In both editions, audit logs record user activity on documents and administration (such as uploads, downloads, approvals and sign-ins) with user, timestamp and object, and can be filtered by date and exported. In the AWS Serverless edition, logs are system-generated and immutable, batched into a hash-chained archive that is verified continuously, and can be streamed to a SIEM.
Which DocuSwift edition should we choose?
We recommend the AWS Serverless edition. It is the more cost-effective edition to run: AWS services bill per use, so there are no idle servers, and there is no hardware or database to buy, patch or staff. It also includes every DocuSwift capability and a disaster-recovery install in every plan; Aavas Financiers reports 60% lower infrastructure management cost on it. Choose the On-Premises edition when policy or a regulator requires documents in your own data centre, or when you must run on a cloud other than AWS.
Can DocuSwift integrate with our LOS, LMS or core banking system?
Yes. DocuSwift is API-first: every console capability is exposed through a documented REST API with scoped API keys and a JavaScript SDK. Webhooks and an event-driven workflow editor notify downstream systems on upload, approval or signature. Ready-made integrations include SharePoint two-way sync, a Salesforce connector and Microsoft 365 sign-in.
