Policies and claims documents, governed end to end

Insurers and insurance intermediaries manage proposal forms, policy schedules, claims evidence and medical or survey reports across agents, branches and TPAs. DocuSwift centralises these with approval workflows, e-signatures and audit trails that stand up to regulatory review.

Documents we manage

The documents in scope

  • Proposal forms and KYC
  • Policy schedules and endorsements
  • Claims intimation, surveyor and medical reports
  • Settlement and discharge vouchers
  • Agent and broker agreements
  • Grievance and ombudsman correspondence
Today's pain

What slows teams down

  • Claims files arrive from many channels and formats and are hard to assemble.
  • Approval of high-value claims lacks a consistent, auditable path.
  • Customer documents containing health and identity data need strict access control.
  • Retention requirements vary by line of business.
With DocuSwift

How insurance teams use DocuSwift

Complete claims file

Tag every artefact with Claim ID and Policy No.; IDP extracts key fields from scanned reports.

Criteria-based claim approvals

Route claims above a threshold or of a specific type to additional approval levels automatically.

Sensitive data protected

Role-based access, PII masking and redaction in the viewer limit exposure of health and identity data.

Retention by product line

Apply distinct retention rules per document type and source, with legal holds for disputed claims.

Approval flows we configure first

  • Underwriting document review
  • Claims approval (tiered by amount)
  • Settlement voucher e-signature

Each flow supports criteria-based routing, multi-level approvers, reminders and escalation, with every decision in the audit trail.

FAQ

Insurance questions

More answers in the full FAQ.

Can customers or surveyors sign documents electronically?
Yes. DocuSwift sends secure, expiring signature links; the signature, signer identity and timestamp are recorded in the audit trail.
Can we restrict who sees medical reports?
Yes. Permissions apply by user, group, source and folder, so medical and identity documents can be limited to named roles.
